I just hatched a mixed chick, daddy was a barred rock, forgot what mom was. It has a white spot on its head and 2 silver lines down it's back...

Any ideas what it will look like? it's like a reverse red sex link with a white spot, lol.

A barred chipmunk! Cuteness. God only know what you'll get, but it looks like you might get some kind of crele-like color. You'll get a barred something for sure.

I hatched an oddball BR last year. He had chipmunk stripes and for a long time, I thought he might have been the son of one of my Silver Laced Wyandotte hens (they have the stripes like that) with my BR rooster, like maybe I picked up the wrong egg, but apparently, he was just a weird chick.
