I don't think they will be sexlinks. Leghorns have dominant white feathers, not silver.

They should be sex linked then. Males white, females red at hatch.

I didn't think white Leghorns could be used in red/black sex link crosses because of the dominant white?

From https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/sex-linked-information.261208/

The second important rule is that one should not use white birds in sex linked crosses. White birds that have the correct genotype can be used to make a sex linked cross but a breeder never knows if the white bird has the correct genotype. The authors advise concerning white birds and sex linked crossing is do not use white birds in sex linked crosses. White leghorns can not be used in any kind of color sex linked cross.

But they could be used with a male silkie to create a different sort of sexlink. Any color silkie male crossed with a white Leghorn female will result in females with black skin and males with yellow skin .

The black spots make them look like an Ideal 236. I suspect your Leghorn is a production hybrid and has a single copy of dominant white to produce both red and white (with spots) chicks.

Someone correct me if this is wrong but wouldn't the red chicks be female and the white ones a coin flip?
