What won't they eat?

Trying to find happy medium for the chickens to have access to backyard. Our veggie garden is fenced off but was wondering if there are any plants they wont eat? Just noticed yesterday they'll eat our african daisy greens but not the flowers. I hate to totally block them off but they seem to devour everything.

"free ranging" and having nice flower beds and gardens simply isn't a good mix. What they don't eat, they squash, scratch and generally destroy. It is what they do. Having 20 bored chickens roaming a typical 100x150 back yard? It generally looks like a moonscape within a month.
