Hi
I just treated my chickens with Eprinex and I was wondering about a product that I could give orally maybe put on some food to get my geese to eat as they can not be handled. I do not want to use wazine. I posted on the goose page but zero response so if you don't know for geese what about orally for chickens and I can research it.

I do have already on hand some strongins (sp?) that I will use on the miniature horses and I will have some left over. I'm not having much luck on google and I really want to get this done!

Thanks!

All wormers are given orally.
That is the only way they can get inside the chicken to kill the worms.

Hi I use an organic wormer VERMEX for my hens which does not stop the eating of the eggs. It is dosed for 3 days a month every month and can be used for geese and ducks etc.

I just put Eprinex pour on on their skin at the neck area. Are you saying Eprinex can be used orally?
I will get back to you one this. I've never heard of Eprinex.
What I was meaning is that by you putting drops on the chicken, it will NOT kill worms that are inside the chicken.

Ivermectin, Ivomec, and Eprinex are examples of topical (pour on) wormers that you put on animals, you don't give them orally. However their affect on worms is debatable now thanks to overuse. They will kill lice and mites, but for worms something else is better.

Safeguard would be my recommendation too.

I am aware that they are pour ons for pests but had never heard of anyone using them as a pour on to treat worms.
