If we’re talking chickens... then I’d pick my Crested Cream Legbars. I love their looks, and all around personalities.
If we’re talking ducks, then definitely my calls. Sweet, cute, loveable. And a whole lot less messy than largefowl ducks!

I had 2 black Australorps, one died, but they both layed the darkest brown eggs!!! I kept wondering if they were indeed Marans but was told no! They are very sweet and pretty girls!

So Legbars are what I thought I decided on to start getting into breeding but after talking with a local guy he said they tent to be disease prone and health issues...?!
Not true. They are the same as any other chicken! IMO, they are pretty tolerant.
