What would cause a chicken to behave bad?

What would cause chicken to be have bad? Like big chickens beening mean to little chickens? Roosters fighting with other roosters? Chickens picking on chickens trying to brood?

All that sounds like normal chicken behavior.

You can try to improve the situation by providing ample space, things for them to do, a well balanced diet, etc., but some birds may be harder on flockmates than others.

I think that most problems occur from not enough space. Any type of animal usually requires plenty of space for them to be happy and well adjusted.

I agree, that sounds like normal chicken behavior, and having more room can help. It's also a good idea to have multiple feed and water stations, and places for the smaller chicks to hide and get away when they're being picked on.
As for the roosters fighting each other, most of them will fight. Not all... but most.
