There's not a specific bantam gene. Crossing a bantam and a LF produces birds that are between the two in size.

of course you would sicko!! hahaha you know that bator got put away...Ill let you in on a huge secret though..guess what Im getting? and 8 shelf incubator from where I work-its only 6 years old and they have no use for it so they know how much of a nut case I am about chickens and asked If I wanted it? Can you believe it I was like " HECK YEAH" its has controls for temps and humidity--those things cost thousands! I cant wait so in the spring watch out lady.Ill collect eggs from all my girls for a full weeks and incubate the whole kit and cabootle!!! that will be about 100eggs at once! OR more--silkie eggs-bantams--polish-BO-EE's some hmm duck eggs....whoa is me...
