I have 3 Black Jersey Giant pullets, 1 Black Jersey Giant Cockerel and 1 Blue Jersey Giant pullet.

What would I get if I crossed the Black cockerel with the Blue pullet. My guess would be Splash, but I've learned things are rarely that straight forward when breeding chickens, lol.

Do any of you have this cross, if so can you post some pictures? Pretty please . . ?

I’ve bred blue to black before and you usually get 50% blue, 50% black, you only get splash if you breed blue to blue, blue to splash or splash to splash

Does this help?

Blue is dominant over black, it can't be carried without being seen. Splash is two copies of the blue gene, one from each parent. Since the black cockerel doesn't have any blue genes to contribute, you wouldn't get any splash chicks from this mating.

But if you take two blue chicks from that cross and mate them (or a blue cockerel from that hatch and mate him back to his mom) then you have a 25% chance of any of  those chicks being splash. You'll also get blue and black chicks from this mating.
