What do you think of it? Does a similar looking color exist in any breed? Thanks in advance.

the silvering looks like birchen in action. the body color i'm having a hard time deciding if its lavender, or platinum or something, the sun seams odd on it.

Looks like a Splash Birchen to me. Exists in Marans, and it may in other breeds too, but can't help you there.

What cross is this? Almost looks Isabel to me, a lavender diluted gold. Beautiful. Lav Orp and buff brahma maybe? Looks like he has a "funny" comb which would suggest to me that both parents were not single combed birds, but I can't tell if there's feathered feet. You can also see the bit of columbian influence that might also suggest a buff columbian bird was used.

Sorry I lost this thread.
His father is an Orpington x White Ameraucana, his mother is the result of a New Hampshire x Black Sexlink father x Splash Wyandotte mother.
I "think" he is:

ER/EWh
Co/co+
Db/db+
Ml/ml+
Di/di+
S/s+
Bl/bl+
and possibly C+/c

-a bit complicated but a beautiful bird nonetheless.

There's no birchen or E^R in him at all.

Definitely blue in him, possibly but not likely dun as well. There's Ml/ml+ and he's very likely either E^Wh/E^Wh or E^Wh/e^b

Definitely S/s+

Possibly Di/di+ but the only parents carrying it are the Buff and possibly the New Hampshire.

No Lavender, no Birchen, no Splash.

Well he hatched blue and his mom is completely blue. Why do you suggest he lacks E^R? He is ether E^Wh/E^R or E^Wh/E. No dun in him.
