Very good question! I do tend to think that this specific situation might be attributed to a specific browser, extension, internet connection, or similar. If it was a site-wide problem to this extent, I think we'd be getting a flood of posts and messages.

Also, have you restarted your device? Sometimes when my device is taking a long time to load repeatedly (and isn't the Internet), restarting it and giving it a few minutes to get back to speed helps. How long have you been using this device?
