What would you call this Comb?

He looks like the picture of that Redcap. Probable rose then mixed with some gene to make it spiky?

Wondering what type of comb this is. He is I believe a "Saphire" x Barred Rock cross. Bought from a local guy making EE's. Ignore the damage, he liked to pick fights.

It’s a rose comb. He’s either a rose comb cream legbar or a cream legbar mix.

That sounds likely. He will be a "Saphire" x CL mix then. The breeder only used saphire roosters and did have CL hens. Still not sure what the Saphire is but he had ordered them specifically from a hatchery to make EE.

I just saw a picture on Facebook of a purebred nankin that had one parent with straight comb and one with rose comb and it looked very similar. The consensus was to keep the comb types separate because this is what happens (for the sake of show stock).
