What would you do if you didn't have any chick starter?

My first choice would be scrambled eggs. I've also used gamebird feed and if they're a little older, I've used scratch.

I have taken layer pellets and put them in my coffee grinder for them one day when my store was out. I also grabbed some earth worms and cut them up with sissors and fed it to them. They loved it and lived just fine.
