Terrie is absolutely correct with the keep quiet part. Although I have a very small family (both parents were only children, grandparents are gone, we've moved far away from what was left of any family) someone may crawl out of the woodwork!
What would I do? Depends on how large the win was.
1) Pay off all debts
2) Pay off the mortgage on my little sister's house (she's a struggling divorced mother of two)
3) Get my eldest son settled better than he is (it's a long story!)
4) Contact a builder to have every single little thing I've ever wanted done to this house done (been here for 30 years, I've got a long list!)
5) Set up trust funds for my nieces and nephews (and one grand niece!). Other than what I'd do for my sister, that's all the family money that would be disbursed. Nothing to my two bothers - they have enough! My mother is all set for money, she just needs to find the fountain of youth!
6) Find some land and build my dream green home with a huge masonry heater in the center of the house, lots of solar, south facing windows overlooking my new farm!
This one is contingent on me being able to leave this house, my roots run deep here!
7) Build a barn to house hubby's new tractor.
8) Find some land on a lake up in Maine to build a second home on, that's hubby's dream and we need it fulfilled.
9) Plan on staying home and doing what I love to do - putter around the garden, take care of my chickens, and just have time to myself, however,
10) I'd definitely travel, I want hubby to go to England with me and really spend time touring around the countryside, up into Ireland, then on to Scotland. The history there fascinates me, nevermind the gardens!
But you know when this will all happen
