Ok, I have it narrowed down. $250 is my max to spend. I can get the manual Lyon tx-6 for $206 or the manual Brinsea 20DX for $224. Which would you get?

I think that they both hold about the same amount of eggs.
Manual turning appears to be very easy for both of them.
They both seem to have a good reputation.

I'm leaning toward the tx-6 for the better visibility and because you can fill the water from the outside, unlike the Brinsea. Any thoughts?

Yup, that's where I saw it - plus $14 shipping makes it about $206. Seems like a great deal.

I have both (mine is a TX-7) if it makes a difference.

I have a slight preference for the Lyon though both are great incubators.

I like that I can add humidity without opening the lyon. Visibility is great. Cleaning the fans and controls i a bit harder.

The brinsea is easy to clean but the hatch is hard to see. You don't need to buy different size grids fr different sized eggs but humidity is kind of a pain becaus eyou need to open and add waterto the wells in the bottom.
