Incubation Question.
I set up the temp on the incubator (styrofoam) and it held steady at 100* for 48 hours. Placed eggs that had been stored at 60* into turner. Temp dropped to 86* within 1/2 hour. Everything normal so far. Temp slowly climbed back to 100* after 4 hours and leveled out last night at 100* for three hours. Went to bed at 11 PM happy. Everything looked great. 7:30 AM this morning at 108*!!!!!!!! Don't know for how long it stayed there. Removed lid and cooled for 5 min replaced lid lowered thermostst. Temp back steady at 100* at 10 AM.
Question; Should i just trash these eggs now or wait 7 days and candle. Has anyone had a similar experience and still had a hatch from the eggs?
Thanks,
I am 99% sure all answers will be to trash but I hold out hope that some may have had success due to the early timing of the excessive heat in the incubation process.
