what would you pay for a pair of east indie ducks?

What would you pay for a pair of East Indie ducks that the Drake won Champion bantam duck, Champion Duck and Grand Champion Waterfowl at the semi-annual apa show. The hen duck took 3rd bantam duck? Your input is important.

Mmmm... I would pay up to $300 for the pair. I'm sure some people would pay more, but that's all I could see paying for them.

I would list them on eggbid. Ppl will go crazy bidding them up. You could start them at $200 or $250 band end up getting $500, who knows? Make sure you mention all their show wins/good qualities. And put up the very best pic you can of them. 80 percent of selling is good pictures.

How much did you pay for them when you bought them? How have they done in other shows? Have you bred them? If so how's their fertility/hatchability? IMO the fact that you had a good win with a bird in one show doesn't mean a lot. Especially since it's a bird you didn't breed so it's genetics are???????

DUccleDude: I am curious as well as to whom these BEI's were purchased from. That helps dictate the price, as would their age. With all do respect...I know what I am paying for a pair of BEI's from one of the country's more prominent and proven breeders/exhibitors.

These were purchased as ducklings last June from Flufnstuff. I paid $15 for each of them at 1 week old. They were raised and bred by her. Her stock came from a reputable breeder here in NY. I have taken them to 3 shows and they have done well against the calls and other bei with 2 best of breed and of course the big win. I have bred them and hatched out 15 ducklings, fertility was almost 100%. Thanks everyone for your input.
