I have an acre or so that I want to plant for feed for: chickens, turkeys, pigs, donkeys.

What would you plant?????????????

My chickens can't get enough of cabbage. They like lettuce of all sorts, but the cabbage is the winner!

Our girls go crazy for corn on the cob, tomatoes, cilantro, spinach, carrots, 2 blackberry bushes, cucumbers and watermelon, gosh I could go on and on. We also have squash in various shapes, sizes and colors as well as pumpkins. I cut the large leaves of everything and give ALL the greens to the girls.
Gosh a whole acre... Can I come play in the mud?? We just have a rather small back yard and all the above veggies we grow for our girls and us (sometimes)

Sweet Corn (the animals can have what we don't eat)

Pumkins 3 varieties

Cabbage

Buckwheat

Rye

Pasture Mix

I'm going to plant the corn and pumkins together, with some beans, and mix the grasses for a second area. The cabage will be planted in its own spot as well
