Well, since we are dreaming, I would also have to have acreage for livestock. Thus, I would have to have a combination meat locker and butcher shop, with access, from outside and inside.

I would want to have a commercial kitchen, large enough for neighbors and friends to use, for processing and canning everything...All stainless steel and epoxy floors. This would be separate from, but adjoining the personal kitchen, where family meals are prepared.

Being in Florida, a root cellar would probably have to be a refrigerated unit, but it would be big enough, to store a year's supply of fresh veggies, canned goods, and seeds, for the coming year.

I really like the idea of a large wood stove, but for effeciency, I'd have to have one of those Viking ranges, with a grill. I would like to have a bread oven.

The personal kitchen, would be done in colorful tile.
All pots and pans would either be on open shelves or hanging racks.

Cast iron is my metal, of choice, but high quality stainless steel, would be nice.

There would be crocks for fermentation of veggies, too.

High quality coffee maker.

And to top it off, a large informal rough hewn, wooden table, with comfortable chairs, for those cold winter mornings, so that life could revolve around the kitchen.

My kitchen has everything I need or want in it, except a new dining table and maybe more lighting under the cabinets, to light up the countertops better. DH offered me a dishwasher, but I actually enjoy washing dishes.

Can I give you my wifes phone number? Maybe you two can become friends....

Wouldn't do ya any good. I doubt it's contagious. All the time my stepdaughters have spent in my kitchen and they haven't got it yet.

I'm still leaning towards a kitchen with one of them women TV cooks that look like they've never eaten anything they've fixed.

I've seen one of them cooking shows that not only does she cook while looking like a fashion model she spends a portion of the show showing folks how to make fancy mixed drinks strong enough that if you drink them you would careless if the food even tastes good.

LOL, nor would you care what that woman looked like!

I would like an addition to the current kitchen to make it bigger. Granite counters. Large, carved, copper country sink

. An attached solarium/greenhouse where I could grow food/herbs year round. a wine cellar. a food cellar. An outdoor kitchen, living space with fireplace and an Italian pizza oven!!!
