The white Silkie of unknown gender that I hatched last October now has a gender. It crowed for the first time a few days ago. Now I'm just waiting for his frizzle sizzle (not Silkie feathered) to start laying.

Wine sounds great right now. Thank you to everyone who posted on FB about Sissy. I have not really been on here as crazy lately because of her passing. We still look for her every time we walk out to the bar. I still feel sick when I go to check the chickens and she is not running in front of me to beat me to them. I sat in my chair today to watch the chickens and found myself looking over to the coops where she always planted herself. She adored staring at the chickens. Some dogs are great dogs, but few are amazing, loving, almost human.
Thank you for letting me vent. I am not ready for things to get back to normal. It's hard right now to think it's possible without your 24/7 buddy.

Hi everyone!! Between Thursday and Friday I got EVERYONES eggies!! Holy cow Im dead!

Everyone arrived unscathed!!! Thank you so much! Yah...um...this will be my biggest hatch yet! And my last of the year...Thank goodness I have a broody because I did not have enough space to fit them all in bator! All are going in today

Pauletta dont you dare send me more eggs..you said youd send me two batchess? im more than content with what I have now! Lol

Oh. honey, I'm sorry! I didn't know. It's so hard when they're gone. My dogs have always been such an important part of my life as your Sissy was yours.

Paulette: So sorry about your dog. I know what your going through. I just lost my baby over winter right after Christmas. She is buried right across our driveway in full view of looking out our front door. That's all I can think about when I look out the door. (probably was a bad place to bury her). I hope you feel better soon.

Well i am recovering after sugery last week,sinus surgery all the sinuss and septum and nasal poylps.I give hugs to roosterlane ,we just lost our beloved oneeye and every time i open the fridge she is not there.I can not go thu loss any more .Anyways what i am looking for is the auqua laya chicken feed sacks and a few puriena goat feed sacks,will trade for ? thanks
