I sent mine out too. I have been driving for a week with family *teenager* problems so running late on everything and then I bought new chicks today and hubbiy told me not to LOL

I've had silkies like that. They turned out blue. No guarantees though, I've had yellow chicks turn out partridge.

I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been on as much lately with all the running. Thank goodness we only have a couple more games left not including practices. They have me running 6 days a week to games and practices. Now the kids have been out of school since Wed. so it makes things a little harder to get done. My daughter finished her dance class lessons and has her recital this Saturday.

I had to share this photo of her in her dance outfit. I just thought it was too cute.

My hubby saw really mad when he found them hidden in the extra room, but he is good now. He knows I am going to do what I want anyway so getting mad is his issue,

It depends on the weather and if you keep a heat lamp for them.

I am going to build them a safe world outside and yes they have to have a heat lamp, but it is warm here most of the time.

Our temps here in Florida are so high right now that I've been able to put 1 week olds outside. I keep them in a small cage inside a coop until they get to be 3-4 weeks old. Be aware that if their head can fit through a hole, the rest of them can too!! Cute chicks!

ps I got NPIP certified yesterday. Woot Woot.
