Well, I flipped my jeep last night, spent all night and morning at The Med in Memphis, TN. God was with me though, it flipped 2 times totalling it completely and I only have a few bruises and cuts, and bone fragments from my spine in my neck, which sounds alot worse than it is. When it finally stopped my Bible was in my lap, so I know I was being watched over. I'm finally home, my whole body aches, praying for a speedy recovery because I cant miss much work, I have no secretary anymore so no one to do payroll! I don't think I have any swaps owed, but if I do let me know and I'll get DHt to take it one day this week.

Thank you all so much for the kind words and prayers.

My guardian angel definetly was with me working overtime. I am just going to try and focus on getting better, hopefully work will still be there.

Immediately I thought of a pair of each chicken breed.... then thought, we can just leave off some other animals if it means there'll be more room for chickens. (I think the fear that chickens are a phase with me can be put to rest.)

I'm okay here in Swamplandia. My chicken yard is all but completely under water over the tops of my wader boots. The girls have a small strip of high ground to get out of the coop onto. I had to evacuate the low coop that had a broody and her chicks in it last night but otherwise all is well. My jap bantam and her silky baby can't come out because their coop is an island and I'm pretty sure the chick, known as Teddy the world's cutest chicken, would drown. The ramp goes right down into a deep, deep puddle. No tornado action here either, it was east of here in the next town over.

oooooooooooooo be careful no one drowns, that's what others have posted on FB lately--that the chickens that they've lost have drowned. (chickens can be so dumb about water)

OH Paris, France!!!! Oh, I'm so glad you are okay! Oh!!!! I know it's hard when you work for a small company that can't seem to survive without you doing EVERYTHING, but I hope you can heal some first!

It looks like my daughter is seriously going to try to join the Army. Does anyone have some young person she can "talk" to that has recently joined, gone through boot camp, etc? Everyone we know personally has gone into the Navy, and most of them it was 30 years ago. I'm okay with it, FYI. She's on FB, so that would prob be the easiest way if you know someone. (Although she doesn't spend near the amount of time on FB as I do... )

I don't know what got into me today. Maybe nobody being around to nag at me or the 1 adult beverage I had (I rarely have any) or that I haven't taken my happy pill because I haven't been able to find them for a week. Still job hunting, though.
