I opsted a few, it is really hard to get good pics when they have only been in the pen for 3 days and are running around trying to figure out who they are and where they belong LOL

So that pheasant picture that was posted made it so tempting for me to get one! I live in a small town that doesn't have much but our park does have an awesome aviary that has more kind of pheasants than you can think of and they sell the eggs and chicks! They also have peacocks, swan, many kinds of wood ducks, and geese. Soooo tempting.

Yes, he got them. I'm sorry I meant to post yesterday. He was surprised and mystified. He hadn't tried them yet when I talked to him because he didn't know who they were from and was really confused over why he had cookies from a stranger!

After I gave him the go ahead to eat them, I'm pretty sure they were gone in 10 minutes!

No I am sorry, we are going straight to Indiana then to Ohio and the to Niagrara Falls. I think we do have a trip to VA coming up for my husbands work, they just have not decided a date yet. When we do I will shoot you a PM. We normally have to go to Mclean or Chantilly. But Roanoke is not that far away.

We are going to stay on the US side this time. I figure if we want to cross over you might as well stay 3-4 days. I am very short visit because I want to stop at a few Harley Davidson dealerships and wineries. It's gonna be a loooong drive home. Oh my goodness I have to report, today was the first dat in a long time I woke up and it was only 85 degrees at 6:30 in the morning. It was awesome! I think we are suppose to get rain sometime in the next 3 days.......pray, pray pray! I am even going to wash the car today. It always rains after you wash your car right? LOL It's either rain or bird poop Bahahaha

With all this hot weather, has anyone noticed an increase of fleas on their pets? My dog Chase was running around the house just a bit ago with his butt to the side trying to itch it on the walls. I pulled out the flea comb and I wanted to scream there were so many!

I hate dealing with fleas, especially in the house.

What a nightmare.
Does anyone have any natural flea remedies before I run out and buy flea treatments?
