Are these kind of things you mean?

Goat's Milk Soap

or

could you just go to the soapcalc and enter the ingredients so it will give you the amounts you need?

Of course I dunno nothing about soapmaking.

No I am looking for actual recipes like Lavender Goats Milk Soap. Etc. I can't seem to find any recipes. I can find the oils and herbs just not recipes. I found a recipe for just goats milk but no additives for them. Like the fragrance soaps.

I want ones like: Lavender, Apple, Jasmine, Plumeria, Sweet pea, Rose ETC. . Things like that. Unless I knew how much to add to the goats milk soap which I do not. I am new to this and am wanting to get started.

Sent you a PM with a website that might be similar to what your looking for. It has several recipes on it.

Oh! lol ok i can explain this. Soaps are made with 2 parts a "base" (this is the formulia, you don't make any adjustments, substitutions or changes here, it's like canning, you fast and loose it, you can get hurt), and additives, this is the colorants, scents, extras (oatmeal, seeds, teas, what have you). Most sites will offer a "base" racipie, and they it's up to the soapmaker to determine scents and color add-ins. Example, you can pour a bottle of food-grade mint extract and 8 drops of green food coloring and make a mint bar. I use 2 bases, one is a refined clear base, the other is a creamy silky opaque one, the color and scent differances are all based on dye and scent oil choices. let me know how many pounds of soap you're making and i can give a suggest scent amount per LB of soap.

Good news. I had 3 BLRW and 1 SF hatch yesterday from Tay_boe's eggs. I have tried BLRW several times before and they would go to lock down but quit. I had to help quite a few. The incubator is in the garage and the outside humidity dropped quite a bit so I am having a hard time getting the humidity in the incubator over 50%. I may need to plug in the Hovabator and try hatching in that again. My humidity was way to high in that. Never a happy medium.

I got eggs from AyeUpChuck from a side trade in perfect condition, from Emvickrey in great condition, and from Oberislikid. One of these was smashed but an extra was sent so I still got 6 in the incubator.

Sad news for me. My cows are eating me out of house and home. I am meeting with the FSA, part of the USDA, to determine if I need to sell my herd. The price of feed has sky rocketed even more so than chicken feed. So much for the American Dream.

Sounds good. The one Split Silkie that was developing from the eggs from you was a quitter. It looks like it quit around day 10-12.

Thanks for the kind words.

So sorry Jim to hear that is has gotten so bad on the feed prices.......hope they can help you out and keep you in business

Oh, Okay great. The recipe I found to make Goats Milk Soap is 2 lbs. Now I am just trying to find how much of additives to add. Such as oil, & Herbs.

All the recipes I am finding are not Goats milk soap. Thanks to everyone for there help. You guys have all been very helpful.

Strawberry Smoothie which is a strawberry and vanilla blend of mine.

I added you to my faves in Etsy. I have a feeling this soap could get to be something I like

I like the bars so much I really would rather look at them than use them!

Oh! Kimberly! The Goats Milk soaps are so incredibly awesome! I love mine and Leah has nabbed a few from me. I ordered some online but they are not nearly as great as what I got on this swap. I love all the fragrances but mostly I love the rich lather and great feeling my skin has afterwards.
I thought I let you see and smell some when you were over the other week? Or was that someone else I am thinking of?

If I see Goats Milk soap on the swaps you can bet I will try to nab those!
