I am lol . Haven't gotten off the couch today except to feed and water the chicks and my son :). If there is one thing good about being extremely ill is that after Nero specialist tell you there isn't anymore they can do for you people don't get as offended by you hint lazy some times lol

Okay I would love you alls opinion. My Heritage RIR chickens are almost 6 months old. They seem to be getting darker as they age and the tail feather are forming lovely teepees. Sorry they are fast movers so my pics are not professional. These chickens come from the The Ricky Bates line and is 90 + years old.

Phew this is getting deep! Change of subject, perhaps?
On a lighter note, Reese your PayPal is sent.
Am I the only one around that doesn't fel like doing ANYTHING today? It's hot and humid and I just don't feel like moving despite the mountains of laundry piling up in my laundry room!

Me too, I'm looking at full baskets now, needing to be folded. I took all my med's for the pinkeye/infection. Maybe that has made me lazy? Nah, I'm just a lazy bum today. :p I am going to need a super kick in the bum to get my bathroom cleaned up. Any takers? :p LOL

I'm not a good person to ask about RIR's, but man those are nice birds Pauletta! LOVE, LOVe, Love, how they are built and the coloring! I have one Roo who is very dark and has nice form, but my hens are all lighter in coloring. I love that line, so nice.

I am working on a huge batch of Lime pickles, my laundry is almost finished, my kitchen is clean, green beans are canned, and I even took an hour nap!

Today is the first day I have all the children (5-ages 7,5,3,2 & 3 weeks) all by myself! They have been really good, and the girls hung the laundry out on the line and took it down and brought it in for me!

It is amazing when kids can just pitch in because they love their mom and want to help. Congratulations on the beautiful family! My kids are close in age too (18, 17, 15, 13) - but they can do most for themselves now. The all teen thing is for the birds, though. They kinda forget about everyone else around them...
