I got my eggs from BHep from a side swap today. From what I could tell they were packed very well. I opened the box to make sure there wasn't anything wet and left them sit until tonight. I was at the Dr all morning again for my toe. After 3 1/2 weeks I went to the Dr yesterday. It was broken. I had to go to a specialist today to see if I needed a pin in it. I don't but need to wear the imolibilizer boot until I go back in 2 weeks to see how it is healing. I'm on my way to the field to get heifer hay now. The neighbor is supposed to be calling to get the milk cows. He will milk my better cows and sell the milk. I can then still keep them, not have to feed them, and keep the calves. I will have to sell some and keep plugging away on the feed bill. I hope this works.

i injured my foot over a month ago.... a can dropped from my pantry from about 4 ft up on to the top of my foot... I still have the dent in the top of my foot.
i figured they could not do much for the bones in the flat part of your foot so I didn't go to the dr.... maybe i should have.

Yup, you should have. My Dr laughed when I said I didn't think they could do anything. I'm waiting for a mom on here to tell me I should have went July 16 when it happened. Its been keeping me awake the last few nights and turning red so I knew it was time to go.

Jim- I am a mom so I will tell you....you should have gone when you hurt it!!! Feel better now that you have been fussed at?

Glad you have something working out with your cows. I have taken in several animals for the time being until some friends can get in a better place financially. Hopefully that will be before winter sets in and I have to figure out feed. We have several hundred acres with nothing but a herd of goats (most of them are mine) and now my free horse so grazing animals are not a problem. Some additional goats and such will be coming this weekend and next as well.

Yoda-got my rooster mat and I love it. My feet hurt pretty bad most days so cooking and doing dishes just adds to the pain. The mat is a life saver, so comfortable. I am going to have to get another one. The kids keep moving the rug from one side to the other for me. HA

I have all three of my swaps so let the good stuff come on out

So you guys broke me. I went to Michaels today to get a neighbor boy a birthday present (he likes car kits). I found the soap making stuff.... I figure since I dont want to fool with lye and such yet I would try premade bases, so I got goats milk base and a few scents and red yellow and blue coloring.... just made my first batch, waiting for it to cool, it is Honey Almond with Apricot seed in it for exfoliation. Smells delicious, I washed the bowl out and was like MMMM and it foams great I am in love already! lol

Long and short the treatment that 3 orthopedic offices have fought to get me to let me walk again will not happen, and without this I can not walk again period. Maybe I need a flask after all?
