Thank you. The porcelain hen that got first came from one of the eggs I hatched from littleameracauna mom I think it was. If not her it was seabright mom's eggs. Right now I forget. "m running on about 2 hours of sleep in the past few days. I think I may sleep all day tomorrow, between dropping off and picking up the kids anyway. The rest of the chickens I got from Bobbi Porto. She has wonderful silkies.

When the girls EVER start laying again i'll be posting them up for sale. The eggs not my girls. Not one of them are laying a single egg and haven't for a little while now. Only eggs i'm getting are a few sizzle, a turkey egg and jb quail and my orp girls that have a grey silkie roo as a mate. I wonder what those babies would look like. I bet pretty NSampel is going to find out. She has eggs on the way to her. If they turn out nice I may swap them from time to time. They are normally for our eating use and not for selling or swapping but the silkies stopped laying so she took an assortment.

I have 4 of your splash silkie eggs in lockdown...due to hatch sometime tonight, but I have to work!! Hopefully I will come home in the AM to some new fuzzy butts

Ok, I bragged on another thread and i'm gonna brag here too. Six of my silkies won first place in the show tonight and the Buff rooster got first and second. I sold a couple of juveniles to a fellow member and he gave them to his daughter as a surprise gift. She entered the older one in the show and she got 2nd place. He is 3 months old and already a ribbon winner. How cool is that. I'm so happy for her.

Hmmm. Does anyone have feed bags (preferably 100lb bags, but 50lbs ok as well) for trade? I have some soaps and such to trade. The BF threw away all of my bags when he cleaned out the coop, and now it's harvest season and I have nothing to buy locally grown grains to put them in!

I have a bunch of 50# and 25# feed bags. They are the white woven poly(?) type. Is that what you want?
