I get about half of what I set serama wise to hatch , I did lose two chicks from the hatch of the birds that are these guys parents , they just didnt thrive nothing seemed wrong but they just died. But I have gotten 6 to grow into adults 3 hens and 3 roos from the first batch , I have 3 little ones from this hatch and they are a week old and seem to be doing good. They are just so small I think you have to make sure they are warm enough , not getting picked on , that he food is smashed up small enough for them in containers small enough for them to get to and water in containers small enough to get to , they remind me of preemies , they just need more care to get going .

I had LOTS of help. Glass is a pain to work with. Very hard to cut without cracking tiles.

Oh... so sorry Pauletta!! Unless I'm dead, or have a major issue with one of my kiddos, or a tornado wipes out my birds, or something else horrific like that, I promise I won't skip out on our side swap for spring!!

Herducks... nice job!! Isn't it awesome moving the microwave off the counter?? Saves SOO much space!!
