Does anyone here spin? I could do a side swap for German Angora rabbit fiber. I'm looking for bantam calico cochin eggs, sq bbs bantam cochins, lemon blue bantam cochins, barnevelders (not mixed with welsummers).

Oh.... if I only had any of those....

I sure did. I seriously miss shopping and swapping. I am a woman on a mission to go shopping and find goodies for my peep swapping pals and I also have been trying my hand at sewing. (Pray for me LOL) I even have my boxes and tape ready.
with all this warm weather, I am feeling the spring cleaning coming on and I know I have a ton I need to post on here. May be a few days to a week. But I will get a moving. Miss y'all!

Lol... good luck on the sewing, I used to cross-stich, before I had kiddos, I do miss it sometimes, it was relaxing=)

My Marans and Ameracaunas are laying, and my first candling of the eggs I have set showed 100% development so far.. which means I will be able to start fulfilling my spring swap soon, Yay!!

Good news, good news!!!  6 of the 7 eggs I got from Reesepoultry are developing!!!  I thought for sure they had frozen!  Amazing what they can withstand and still develop....  Keep your fingers crossed for continued development! 

Yesterday, I noticed that only 6 of Prim's babies came out to eat.  The 7th was still huddled up under the bench.  I crawled under there to get him, and he didn't even attempt to get away from me.  It's the baby Prim saved...    His comb was pale and bent over and he felt skinny.  I took him into the heated kennel building and checked him out.  His left foot is swollen.  I think one of the adults hurt him.  My daughter said the other day, Prim and the babies had gotten trapped in the outdoor run when the coop door accidentally closed, and when she let them back in, one of the adults, Scorpion, went after them.  I wonder if that's when it happened.  I gave him food and water in the brooder box in the kennel building, and he ate and drank right away, so I don't think he was able to get to the food and water with a hurt foot...  Hoping he will recover if I keep him inside by himself for a while.  Any suggestions for me??

The swelling has come down a bit and I was able to get a really good look at the foot. There are two small wounds on the top of his foot on either side of his middle toe. I would imagine just cleaning and neosporin?? He's really skinny. I feel so bad. I don't know how long he was hurt before I realized he wasn't coming out to eat with the others.

I got TONS of worms and beetle...all alive ! Some of the tiny ones escaped and were running rough in the envelope. !!! LOL

I handed the envelope to my DD, she is the worm caregiver.

I had one of my friends that I sent worms to check to see if they shipped okay. Here is what he said "There are a ton of them!!! When I emptied the paper towel this was left..."

I hope my girls start laying again. I went from 4-5 dozen eggs a day to 0 and now yesterday I got 6 eggs. The geese are starting to lay, though. I'm getting 2 eggs everyother day.

Received eggs from Silkie Sensation yesterday. Beautiful colors! Box looked good but one egg was broken and most of the others have wonky looking or rolling aircells.
