Merry Christmas! At least that's what it feels like here. More snow again tonight, but only 4-6" this time. This is one of my runs that I put lights on a timer during the winter for extra "daylight" for the hens. I just took this picture and there is about 2-3 ft of compressed snow along the edges and into the run. The dogs have a 6ft high fenced in area (large) and they can now just walk over the fence where the snow has fallen off of the garage. When will Spring get here.



I think I'm going to have to change my username from coldupnorth to SickofWinter!

I would be sick of winter by now too. I have a bad habit of landing on my rear in snow & ice so I would be pretty stiff & sore & likely have several broken bones by not if winter was as long here as it is there.
