Does anyone know where I can find pea fowl eggs? Dbfs friend at work wants me to hatch some off for him. This would probably be a PayPal trade.

I have 2 friends who raise peas. 1 is in northern Ohio & 1 in Southern Ohio. Not sure if either ships eggs but I can get you phone numbers for both. PM me if interested.

I got some pea eggs in April and a few the beginning of May. Not a one since.

I hatched pea chick from the 1st egg that was laid...gave the next batch to friends and set the next batch....waiting on those to hatch.


I have 4 hens...what gives???

Good luck!!! It's actually kind of funny you would say that.. At the hospital I work at, they are telling us NOT to say "Good Luck" b/c I guess it comes across sarcastic to some people, so we're supposed to say "take care" instead (I just love scripting

has anyone heard from Reese lately? I pmd her last week and havent heard a thing back and that is NOT like her at all...Does anyone know if she's ok?? I'm getting worried

I was wondering the same, sent her some raspberries for a side swap, hope they made it ok... but I know when I get busy, BYC is one of the last places I check, for several days at a time sometimes... then it will take me a week sometimes to answer PM's which makes me feel like a heel, but gotta get the dishes done at some point! lol

Just joined BYC this month and just found this thread! May I join?

I am not very computer literate so figuring out how to post a link to what I have to swap may take a bit LOL! I will see if one of my adult kids can help me figure it out when they come for dinner on Sunday!? (We have a total of five 20 yos in the family - triplets (g/g/b), sil, dil and an 8 yo princess!)

We had a feed and seed business until last fall (retired - medical reasons) (we miss our friends/customers!) and we have a lot of seeds that were meant for this yr. Don't know if anyone would be interested in seeds (all kinds of vegetable type - spring and fall), but our current newest babies are due to hatch starting Sunday and I'm starting to hunt more fertile eggs!
Still trying to figure my way around this site and how it works as I have time. I am SO HOOKED on BYC!

So fun to find other chicken addicts!

*Trying to get coops built; learn, learn, learn; back and forth to building supply and feed stores ..... to do list always bigger than my wallet!
*Turning what was one of our married kid's bedrooms into tool room, another into storage - so the tool shed is now a coop and the storage building is in process of becoming brooder house/coop.
