I think they would be something someone could use. Nearly everybody has kids or grandkids that would love them.

its been awhile since I've posted...just been busy and no time to chat. anyhoo, saturday I went to the ohio national poultry show and saw some amazing birds. anyone here breed large fowl cochins? I'd like to get ahold of some eggs in early spring. I adore the bantams but they seem to disappear more so than the big guys. I can trade for ancona duck eggs or possibly OEs or purchase outright. ..but like I said I wont be ready until spring..just getting some contacts in line. thanks! hope everyone is doing well.

I don't have those but I'm interested in getting some Anconas eggs from you. I have button quail. And in the spring ill have calls laying and hopefully silkie ducks from Holderread's. I am on their wait list now for two adult pairs.

Ha it most definitely is. I am in Central Florida so it's easy to hatch year round. I have some calls due to hatch day before thanksgiving and then I am shutting my bator down until January. I'm flying up north for Christmas so I don't have a choice, but I've had to pass up a lot of really good deals on hatching eggs!

To everyone else, if I owe you swaps, I either have them going out today or tomorrow, sorry for the delay but we've actually had a very cold spell with freezing temps at night. We're warming back up now, Spring is in the air and I'm getting swaps out. I guess that's the trouble with shipping perishible items in the winter.
