I have been making soap and started making candles recently. I work full time so it's mainly weekends and whenever I can but I LOVE it. It's definitely my creative outlet. I learn how to make jam jelly and butter last summer too. Here are some I have made recently.


I do make plain bars too

I've been meaning to try soap cupcakes. I bought the bags and tips and then let them sit in one of my drawers. I need to experiment, but it's hard with soap since it doesn't stay the right consistency for very long.

Yeah for sure. You have to catch it in that state between fluid and rock hard. I pipe when it is a butter like consistency. I have had a few failed attempts....lol. It's fun to try and they are pretty when they turn out like you want. I usually make 6 cupcakes to use up fragrance oils I have left.

After some soaking, a little flicking and an adventure in the dye pot, here is a lock of the fleece I got from jmcgee83. Raw fleeces are a bit of work, but oh so worth it in the end. I dyed quite a bit today. Now I plan on enjoying my homemade wine while I relax and hopefully knit before bed.

Seriously! My baby is sick right now and so I've had my hands full and it's all coming to a crashing halt around here. No more hobies,activities or secret projects for me. Unless you show one more picture of your amazingness that is.lol
