I am catching up at last, just owe side swaps on plants. Dirt is dry as dust and hard as concrete. Who got all our rain? Had my stress test today, I did pretty good for a grandma! But I didn't like the way that EKG was looking when my heart rate was up. Made it to target rate of 141 in 9 minutes. Of course, they never tell you your results, you have to have another office visit. More $$$$.
This afternoon I sold 4 chickens, now if I could sell 40 more it might make a dent!:-D

Got my silkie plushie-- thank you cuntryuppiechick. I absolutely love them and will have to keep an eye out for the next one. Got to have a trio you know.

I am going to post pics of how she has shipped them. It is too cute.

Received the eggs from Shellyga. They were fine except for one. It wasn't cracked or broken..it was demolished. The ladies at the PO waited 30 extra min for me to drive there from work to get my eggs. They apologized for the rough treatment the eggs got. They even helped me unpack them. Shellyga they were enchanted with how dark they were. I think we have some Maran converts. They looked at my website and have invited me and Eggbert to stop by on Saturday so they can see a silkie in person. I am spreading the chicken love!!

The fogger system from groundpecker arrived as well. Super nifty. The silkies will enjoy this next summer.

It was just like Christmas today.

Only have 1 more thing that I am waiting on. I may have to take a break from this thread....I know I will still lurk but the shipping is killing me.

Sonew123- no luck. Too many power outages. I will have to try hatching again in spring. I have received the last eggs I am going to incubate this year except for one side trade. Then I may actually turn the bator off....scandalous I know. I keep telling myself that I am not brooding chicks in the house this winter. If I keep telling myself then maybe I will actually do it.

ChickyChickyBaby- about half way there but need to stop at the store tomorrow and pick up some more yarn. Can't wait for you to see it. I would keep it if it wasn't already promised to you. LOL It is turning out great and so soft.

Well unfortunately it'll probably not be me.

Since I work all day I miss a lot but you can be sure I'll be lurking around waiting to nab that sucker when I am home.

I've been waiting on something like that to come up again ever since I missed your syrup. When did you say syrup season starts again?!?!?!?
