They look as if a child did them.

I let my hubby try to help and he broke many of the eggs and made the holes too big and broke them. He always interfers when I try something.

Here are pics of some of them. I couldn't find wording anywhere so I had to paint it on. Stickers don't stick real well. So I tried rub ons. Then the paint looks horrible it left brush marks. So then I tried painting them with my finger. I used my Easter egger/Ameraucana eggs. The one I left the egg and didn't paint it. The green one. I just wrote on it and added rub ons on it.

We may just be hanging them on our tree. I may be too embarrassed to give them for gifts.

The first one looks great. I like that your writing matches the rustic edges and "feel" of the snowmen.
I couldn't find any Christmas-y stickers I loved which is why there are no TRUE Christmas ornaments in my group. A lot of people used the rub on transfers. I just didn't have the patience to wait on them to order and have them sent. But up close all my stickers have crinkles and creases where they didn't quite wrap the egg well. Guess it just takes practice and the right supplies.

I thought yours looked great.

I do like the non-painted one. If I do anymore it will probably be the Green eggs and I won't paint them. I will just put the rub on's on it and maybe write on them. I just can't get the painting down. I have never been very good at painting.

Plus I am using laquer. I thought about trying clear gloss. The laquer was super expensive $8 a can.

Thanks!!
I used glossy modge podge spray on most of mine. The super shiny ones were coated in triple thick. I like mine natural with just misted in paint so the natural egg color comes through. I got a little over jealous with it at times which is when the completely silver eggs came about. I think you would like the finish on the spray painted ones because you won't get the brush marks. Silver and gold brush on paints are notorious for not good coverage.

I tried blowing some out and the holes all end up bigger than a quarter so when I saved the first egg, it took four tries to get one I could keep.

I have found easiest way is to poke hole in one end abou as big as.....well smaller than pencil but bigger than just needle hole. And inject air using a large syringe (10-20ml) and large bore needle (18g) after poking yolk well with needle.

Anyone know what this means...."Got error 12 from storage engine"

I can't access my page. I was going to update it and add more things.
The little bar thing shows I'm only at half my storage space.

Does anybody know where the pictures of AyeUpChuck's Koi cake toppers are? I've spent an hour trying to find them to show a friend with no luck. Thanks,
Jim
