I buy so many eggs from so many peeps, I am sorry I cannot remember who these came from BUT I wanted to ask. What up with the crazy feather on this serama? I have this color and the porcelains. The colorful one has feather on it's shoulders that are curling up. I have 2 of these and then all the other are smooth. Is this a roo, is this normal, or is this a frizzle? Thank you, Also here is an adorable pic of a sizzle,
 
That whitish EE I posted a pic of yesterday kinda had feathers like that for awhile, but not quite so many. They laid down after a bit. Maybe the shafts grow funky then settle down to normal

that sizzle pic makes me giggle. The facial expression is hilarious.

Pauletta, yes a lot of seramas will feather in like that, just nothing come in yet around it which makes it look funky. Once more feathering comes in it will be a beautiful smooth.
