[Stuck in the Coop]

Thanks guys. So, I"m in the middle of rolling and out baking 4 dozen cookies for the 4-H kids when I get a text... "4-H meeting cancelled due to excessive sickness"... 10 mins later my 19yr old walks in the house, "Mom, I'm sick. I just threw up on the way home."

Holy smoke, could this day be any better?

Now the decision, do I indulge in all those freshly baked cookies or freeze them for a Valentines party next week?


I think I'll eat them...all of them

just recieved eggs in the mail.

Ok, the first package is in a yellow 12 (eggs are green) pack eggs carton is from dairyroad, the second is Individually rapped in bubble wrap with yellow crunched up paper in the box (eggs are brown). Who are these from?

update on eggs:
Brown ones are from Anderson8505. (need to know what the mystery one is)
Still dont know on the green/olive ones, I think from Henthymes, but am not sure? (one egg is broken but is still really good because usually atleat 2 are broken)

What a day. One of our Buckeyes died yesterday while I was gone. I examined it closely this morning and can find no wounds, so must suspect sickness. I'm freaking out and imagining every bird is sneezing and wheezing - maybe one or two sneezed in reality, but I'm still freaking. Totally cleaned and disinfected coop, waters and feeders and started everyone on antibiotics. No one visibly sick, so perhaps I'm over reacting

everything is just so damp after all the rain we got so I suspect it could be from that.

Anyway, the point to this story - Nat, I don't have your eggs done to send today cuz I spent the time cleaning coops instead of blowing eggs. Sorry - I have most all day tomorrow free so they should go out then.

Received clock and bonus goodies (Thanks I love them!) from ColdUpNorth. Plus some Polish eggs I bought from Hot2Pot.

I still owe sonew and a side-swap with innerbatikwolf...is there anyone else? My week has been crazy and I don't want to forget anyone.

Off to bake cookies for 4-H meeting tonight and try to find something to feed my family.
