Beth!!! I got the BLOWN out eggs today!!! I had a huge scare..everyone knows I cant hatch for like 7 more weeks right??? Dh brought the mail in and opened a box..he said hun you have eggs!!! I said WHAT??? I am not expecting eggs from anyone for a while yet...i opened the box and started freaking out saying holy sh!t what am I going to do? I dont remember Beth offering eggs and me taking them??? Thats alot of eggs..crap im going to have tpmbite the bullet and get the bator out!!! Dh was like crap hun..its too soon...then I picked one up to unwrap..to try and figure out what chicks ill be hatching...as soon as I saw the hole i busted out laughing....OMG its the blown out egga!!! What a dufus!!!!! Thank you beth!!!! Lol

Hey for any of you that have a hobby lobby near you. I am looking for 1 or 2 more chicken canisters that match my set. I bought 2 out of the clearance isle and I can't get anymore from my store they don't have them. I am also looking for the cookie jar to match mine. If you guys see them at your hobby lobby can you let me know. I got them for pretty cheap. I would pay for them and the shipping on them if you could find them. I got I believe the biggest and the next size from the biggest so I need the next 2 smaller sizes.

Spent the day working on a small coop for my 4 Marans. I have the floor completed and the stud walls built. I think I'm going to paint the plywood before I attach it to the inside walls and then put everything together. The roof will take a little more time because I want part of it to lift up and the whole roof needs to be removeable so I can clean it. It will be a 4 foot cube with roof and a 6x12 foot run. Takes me awhile to work but I can say that I've done it myself when I'm done. DH will help me cut the 4x8 sheets of plywood because they are too big for me to send through the table saw alone. He also doesn't have a problem coming to tell me what I'm doing wrong.

That is so cool, good for you!

I'm handy at repairing, but lack patience for squaring things off and making them nice, so I pay a friend's husband to build my coops. He was here today building coops 3 & 4. I hope he's done with them in a week, cuz I've got WFBS chicks on the way for #3, and the blue rocks need their own space, and I've got an Appenzeller Spitzhauben lady friend coming over for a month or two to spend quality time with my AS rooster.
