BHep, you are a Hatch Pro! 100% on shipped eggs is wonderful.

Starting to see a bit of interest in birds around here. Sold two hatchery SLW so far. I need the room, the Buckeyes are getting huge. Have about 16 various breed pullets who hopefully

will begin laying in the next month. I look for a green egg everyday but the EEs are still holding out on me.

Patricia, your eggs will go out today and Beth the boots also. Will post your DC# after I go to PO.

I am worried about having too many birds just cause they aren't selling, eggs or birds.

Also I have been having to pad lock my stalls again. Someone has been letting themselves in my barn at night. I guess I have to break down and buy a camera and install it in my barn. Someone keeps unlocking my stalls and not locking them back up. Like visiting with my animals while we are in bed. The next step is taking them. So I now have to lock the cages every night.

I went outside yesterday to find that they found the keys that I had hidden and got in and there was stuff everywhere. So I now take the keys inside with me. I live 900 feet off the road and all of my neighbors are 900 ft away and more. Not sure who can be doing it. But now I will no longer allow people to walk through my barn to see what I have. There is just too many untrustworthy people. Funny cause I love to show my birds off. It is just a shame.

I have a Norweigan Elkhound but he don't guard much. My Pitt bull that Got hit and died was my guard dog. She wouldn't let anyone near the chickens. She protected them and us.

I want one of them big white guardian dogs but, my hubby won't let me. He says they can't be trusted around others who come here.

Michelle, if you have an Aldi's near by they just had wireless cameras for $60-$70 dollars! We just bought one the other day, also have the wired version they offered last year. Will be putting one in the barn and the other toward the front of the driveway.

Oh that's scary. Time to get a guardian dog as well as the camera? :)

Very scary! I cannot imagine how freaked out I would be had someone been lurking around after dark, messing with my stuff! I'd be out there armed and scare the crap out of them good.

Perhaps it's a bigfoot

they love to eat chickens. Install a camera and you could be a millionaire if you catch it. LOL

Terrific! Thanks. Bring on the staggered hatch, I couldn't hold out and not plug in that incubator.

This is very scary. It seems odd that they are not taking anything.... Maybe taking eggs?
