Light Brahma? I've got 2, love them!! These two happen to be much less scared of humans than some of my other chickens, they also love to fly more than my others. I had to clip one wing on both just this week, nearly lost one to the neighbor's dog because "Brah" hopped the fence... (the other one is "Ma")

anyone know what kind of chicken this is?

Does it have feathered feet or clean? Could possibly be a Delaware if clean legged. What fun!

I had a couple that pipped but didn't do anything else so I helped them. They are doing just fine. They just couldn't zip their way out. I did the work for them and popped the top and they did the rest.

Ok so now i want seramas... i will put them on my want list i looked up the breed website, very informative. i also like that you can keep mixed pens.

so japs have a leathal gene- do seramas do as well or that's not an issue with them? japs when you get the 2 short legged genes the chicks wont hatch its sad to see them develop and not hatch. so looking for an additional banty breed.

She is not a Delaware, they have straight combs. IF she has feathered legs she is a Light Brahma, IF she has clean legs she is a Colombian Wyandotte.

Does anyone know of a place where I could buy only one turkey chick and then buy a few chickens to ship with it so that I would have the required chick order? My show quality tom got killed and I have to get a little chick to replace him. Plus I already have 3 and am only allowed to have 4 turkeys.
