WHAT YA GOT SWAP Chat Thread

I know this isn't about chickens but My best friend's brother had a heart attack while working. He drives a truck and he was stopped at a truck stop and was feeling really bad and called an ambulance. He was taken to the nearest hospital and then transferred to one in Cookville, TN and is living on machines now. The family was told today that if he doesn't show improvement by tomorrow he suggest they shut off the machines and let him go in peace. He's only about 50 yrs old with one daughter married and pregnant and another still in middle school.

I'm trying to pull out the big guns here and it's probably risky to do on here but i'm asking for everyone that believes in prayer to please say one for him and his family.

I received my eggs from BHep so I can set them for the Easter Hatch-along. They all made it here in good condition and I love the variety! My youngest DD is hoping that the EE/NN will hatch. We have one lonely NN in our laying flock and she wants company.

Also have some of the chicks hatching from Jim right now - pictures when they are out of the incubator

Reese, I have baby quail today! 3 so far, but I think there will be more. They are the cutest little things!!!

Yeah, And in 6 weeks they will be laying eggs for you.

Iris is my favorite flower. I sure didn't want to chance them dying so I got them planted in the iris bed with the rest.

I want to thank everybody for the well wishes and prayers. He passed away this morning. They turned off the machines and let him go peacefully. He wasn't getting better and he was only alive because of the machines. They couldn't operate because of the state he was in. I don't know all the details. My friend isn't one to talk about something when she's upset. She's a tough country girl and prefers others don't see her in a weak state. She'll talk when she's ready. I'll be there for her when she is.
Her brother just turned 51 on the 7th of this month. He's her baby brother and they where very close.
