Well the chick is still hanging in, slept most of the afternoon. It woke up a bit ago and drank a tad of water, I will give it some olive oil drops in a little bit to see if I can get some of the stuff to clear out. I did push some up and out the mouth earlier today, seemed to help relieve it some. I am holding out hope to try and save this little thing and of course I am pretty sure it's a pullet.

I know how you feel.
One of my Swedish Flower Hen pullets is sick also and I don't know what it is. She can't stand up. I talked to the vet this morning and he suggested I try Clavamox. She has had two doses so far and I am hoping she feels better in the morning. She is my beautiful black pullet and she should start laying anytime now.

On the brighter side, I have 10 beautiful baby Indian Runner ducks ( from MiMis_ Place). 12 out of 12 shipped eggs made it to lockdown and so far 10 have hatched.

I haven't given up on the other two yet. I am hoping there are two more ducklings in the bator when I get home in the morning. I will try to post pics tomorrow.

I think this is Zgoatlady's first swap on this forum, am I right? Am I supposed to wait to ship the eggs until they post the DC# of your swap that was claimed, and the person that claimed it states they received it?
