There are rattlers in New York State. So cold is no guarantee against snakes. Actually, I think snakes are beautiful. Need more to control all these mice!

There are rattlers in Southern Minnesota but it is a little more temperant there than northern Minnesota. Not much, but enough. I don't mind snakes myself and I have no problem with them living in and around my gardens. DH on the other hand, runs fast and loud when one is seen.

The kids love this because they are not afraid of snakes. But then again, no poisonous ones here.

oh my im giddy with excitement.
All my eggs ive been collecting over the last month are due to ship today.
Im getting blue sex links,buff orpingtons,ducks of several breeds-first time duck incubating,iowa blues,buff brahmas.
All new breeds for me to experience,with the exception of the orpingtons.
I had to releasse my excitement before i blow up inside.

oh my gosh my quail are coming today or tomorrow also.

I need just a screamming head ready to blow up

Well in Arkansas we have it all LOL. You silly ole garden snake to rattlers. I have a patch of land behind my house that a couple from Hot Springs is going to build a home on. They are in the process of clearing the timber. So my husband and I were thinking that's why the cotton mouth were coming our way. Tha land had standing water and a little swampy. But I can't think of any other reason to live in my front yard. And that was just a young one. I think for me it's just key to keep all leaves up. Trim the bottom of all bushes off and no tall grass.

Speaking of which time to cut the grass today!

My yard owns me. LOL

I sent a dozen eggs express from NC to TX. It cost $37 to ship EGGS!!!!! I do not find your price unreasonable. I also was quoted a price to ship 12 chicks at $60 shipping.

People need to get real !!

Yeah, I just bought 6 baby call ducklings and they live in the same state as me 4 hours away and I paid $50 to have them shipped. It amazes me that people think you should pay for the shipping. But, it also says to send me there zip code and I will see if I can send cheaper. People just don't read.

I try to be reasonable. But I can't pay for the boxes they are expensive and I can't afford to buy a bunch at a time to get a deal.

So it seems I am NOT getting my byc notices again, I have been missing out on swaps!!!!

Sometimes I don't get mine either and if I click on the "subscriptions" thing, it says I don't have any! And then, a notice will pop up. It's frustrating.
