Out of my Jan. 5 hatch, 3 out of 4 are roosters. One of the two silkies I got from cuntryuppiechick just crowed. Curses. What kinda sucky odds are those?! I thought with a broody you got more pullets. On the bright side, I've got an excuse to hatch more! I still want my showgirls.

Yeah, Florida is the place to be. (plus Crossgirl and I wouldn't have far to travel).

There were some pretty Showgirls at the N Ocala swap yesterday, but I would stick with trying to hatch them, Crossgirl. I'm swearing off adding adult birds!

Nope, on the other side of the state. I'm about a 50 min drive north of Tallahassee.

Since I got a differant vehicle. Once it warms up a little bit more. I am going down to visit my father-in-law & mother-in-law & my sister-in-law. We are gonna be near Maynardville, Tn. My father-in-law lives in Big Ridge State Park. If anyone is close enough to there I would love to meet up.
