Buying out neighbors... boy wouldn't that be a dream! Then I wouldn't have to worry about them being bothered by my roosters.
Yep, I've got plans all drawn up for a 36x40 barn with rooster pens along both long walls, all with outside, covered runs, a great big yard for my girls to run around in...
Of course we'd pay the house off and PAY somebody to build my barn so I wouldn't have to. Also, someone could come and get my garden all installed and running (including a greenhouse and orchard) with a timer operated/maintained sprinkler system. Get both of the cars fixed, buy the land behind us (about 10 more acres) and buy some water rights and have all the work done to get it here.
So many plans! All I need is money!

DH was talking about what to do with that much money.. one of the first things he said was.... "we'd need a bigger place for your chickens", haha I like your plans LacyBlues, sounds AWESOME!!!

Im dying here I want to swap so bad but with my kitty just getting out of the vets with a 388.00 bill and just had 3 family birthdays and thanksgiveing and then christmas comeing even just a little shipping is to much .. I live vicariously through you guys .

We are hoping to buy a small farm in the next few years. We look now, but know we can't move just yet. There is a 9-acre place right down the road from our church that is for sale. It has a huge pond and a really lovely house and garage! My hubby likes it "especially for the ducks and geese!"
