Yeah, I'm amazed sometimes how much my 4 year old can eat, I swear he eats more than I do!! And the toddler is cathing up fast!! He can put down as much mac and cheese as the rest of us, lol!!

OK.... Made a coop page with the birds that I will have hatching eggs for in the spring... Any and all comments on the birds are welcome...Still kind of deciding which breeds I want to keep for breeding, especially now that I have so many cool ones coming in the spring, woohoo!!

LOL! I remember as a teen, I could sit down and eat 6 pieces of a 16" pizza (six out of eight!) before I felt full. Granted, back then, I could metabolize food like nobody's business and was always underweight. Too bad that's not still a "problem", now it's the opposite for me, eat less than what my body should be taking in in a day and I GAIN weight!!!
This is me, too. I remember coming home from school and having 6 hotdogs as a snack.

I was skinny with plenty of energy.... now it's all caught up to me, as I have a really hard time losing weight now.

I still eat like im 20! I joined a gym 6 weeks ago to halt the extra azz I grew from quitting smoking 5 months ago! Good Lord can you say moooooooo! :(

LOL! I was pretty stable with my weight, until I sat at home all the time. I am waiting to go back to school (working would cost too much with daycare for two :/) and wow, I've gained a good 5-10lbs in the past 6 months. I don't even want to think about quitting smoking now, or I'd probably gain 600lbs!

Got my weight down after all 4 kids and then I turned 35 and its been downhill from there in an uphill battle with fat. I don't eat all that often (I actually forget alot) and I think my body thinks its in starvation mode and won't let any calories leave the body. I want to be 20 again.....nah then I'd have to do childbirth over again.

Natalie - don't see any of that hanging around in your avatar - Looks good!

I think that might be my problem as well. Sometimes I'll skip a day of eating, and on a typical day, I eat one meal. When I looked up a calculator thingy to check what my basal caloric intake should be, it was HIGHER than my actual daily intake... So, in all reality, I should have been losing weight, but I haven't been! I was heavy before I got pregnant (175), dropped 10lbs (to 165) after my first was born, then dropped down to 145 when my second was born. I'm now back to 155-160. The numbers themselves don't bother me, but the extra whale padding around the butt and gut DO bother me! I told the big G that I want a treadmill. Haven't been able to find an affordable one yet though. Meanwhile, I've been staying away from high calorie foods (unless it's bacon of course) and trying to do more rounds to check on birds, lol. I tried just running up and down stairs, no way. I'd seriously rather sit on a stair stepper thing and do that than actually do stairs, there's just something about them that makes it miserably boring.

Last year I was exercising like mad everyday including 5 mile runs and still eating my normal. I didn't lose a pound, but did tone my waist a little. Summer came and I really dislike being hot, so the exercising kinda went by the wayside. I need to get busy again. We have snow now, so I could get my snowshoes out. That is a major workout!

The sad thing is that for the most part, we eat pretty healthy. I sneak ramen noodles and pizza in there once in awhile, but I do all whole wheat, fresh foods, etc. I guess I'm fairly toned. I can handle 100lb bags of feed without much effort. Last week I was really weak though, I couldn't handle a 25lb bag of flour! I was not feeling good at all. We should start up an exercise thread, maybe with others suffering with me, I'd be more motivated to exercise (I don't like gyms though, because I don't want anyone actually SEEING me work out, lol).
