After months of wanting to update my swap page, I finally did it today.
202roosterlane - Hope you get back to normal soon. Hmm. I was thinking the picture looks like what Colorado should look like. We have only gotten a little snow so far this year. If I could just order some rain then I would be just as happy without snow but the ski resorts wouldn't be very happy.
At one time, my husband had over 600 (!!!!!) vintage snowmobiles in our yard, in various states of disrepair.... From total junk to beautifully restored. Since he passed away, I have slowly been passing them along to his snowmobile buddies that I know will love them and make good use of them. I still have many that have special meaning to me.... Probably down to about 150 now... They were all treasures in his eyes! He used to tell me he didn't care how what I brought home, if I didn't complain about what he brought home... Then he would add... "Unless it is another guy... Lord, help me... I miss him...I know it seems crazy. I have some pics on my FB page. We had to build a new shop for them. The "Museum" . My husband bought and restored these himself back to Harley Davidson original. (Except the 2013). So I am grateful he could see his dream of owning a second shop (his museum) after all his hard work. Trust me, we are not rich. This is kind of how I got to have more than 3 chickens. I said I am going to have 14 chickens since he has 14 bikes. I think I have closer to 60 now....... but because he likes them too.
He used to spend more time restoring them than riding them. But with all his surgeries I think now we wil take more time to enjoy long, lovely rides.![]()

That is one thing he did put his foot down in was a goat... He said absolutely not to a goat! Didn't want them walking on the vehicles...Aweeee, I totally understand.Though my husband tries to make sure I don't bring home goats, peafowl, turkeys. But I seriously see another set of turkeys in my future
He did buy an old Harley Davidson Golf cart, currently in South Dakota. We will be heading that way as soon as the snow melts in South Dakota.
But we honestly have no more room. Any spare land left is for chickens![]()
