I want one. So cute. How many do you have? All of the farm animals I've seen on BYC make me want to have a ranch! But that is not going to happen anytime soon. Congrats on Blizzie.

Thanks everyone. She's a cutie and now our little Regan born on Presidents Day has a playmate. Nothing like a couple of calves to make you smile.

We had to really downsize due to drought and have less than 20 head. We had almost 100 head a few years ago. It's a lot easier to manage 20 head but was hard to sell the rest of the herd over the last few years.

I can't imagine the amount of work to keep 100 or 20 heads of cattle. I think I will be happy with my little flock of chickens - cleaning out their coop once every few weeks, growing fodder, and meal worms to keep them happy.

I cannot fathom having to manage a 100 head. I can count ours on my fingers...lol
