Yes, a broody hen can incubate goose eggs. I have help them turn the eggs once a day. I was afraid the shock of seeing their new chicks (goslings) would make them kill them so have put the eggs in the hatcher to hatch. I had hens sit on 4-5 goose eggs depending on the size of the eggs.My hubby was wondering if it was Christmas again when the mail lady came, until he realized that 3 of the 4 packages delivered contained eggs. The other he was happy with because it was his new coffee maker.
I got my eggs from corancher (goose) and kraftyladies. The others were from ebay - a mixture of different kinds; however they failed to mark them. I don't know what is what
*Question - can a broody hen incubate/hatch a couple of goose eggs? She might do a better job than me.
