I was beginning to wonder about the meal worm kits that maybe people were being nice and not letting me know they arrived dead. I'm willing to replace if they arrive dead or something doesn't work out. As you know the postal office isn't to kind to our packages. I'm going to avoid shipping Thursday-Sunday to insure they are not left in a hot delivery truck on a Sunday. (think that is what might have happened to the DOA ones)

Mine are going crazy also..I have zillions of babies. I don't touch the things, but my kids do. They separate the pupa & beetles from the worms .

I had to leave work early yesterday to have my horses' teeth done. All 3 chicks had atched when I left, but the second one to hatch was still sitting with it's butt in the shell, so I figured I would leave them inthe bator unitl this mornig to give them time to dry... This morning, the poor baby was still stuck in the shell!! It's poor little butt was glued in there! I had to run warm water on it to loosen the shell. Now it's legs are all funky. I have her (I hope) in a cup with her legs vet-wrapped closer together...

Check with Sally on this one. I never have any luck with chicks with leg issues. (Maybe just not enough patience
