Just a warning: Vinca is EXTREMELEY invasive, so be sure you want it where you put it! My parents had it on the rocks around their fish pond, and it took over everything! We pulled Vinca for years before we got rid of it all! It is really pretty, and in the right place it looks so nice!

Are yall telling me that this is something my free range chickens and ducks would leave alone? And I could have something purty in the yard.

That I don't know. I'd imagine so. It's really pretty but it spreads like crazy! Which is great if you need ground cover.

I have 12.5 acres that 2.5 need something on it about 9 months out of the year. Right now I am looking at a bunch of dirt, or mud where I have watered the animals.

Then it'd be right up your alley.

Did you ever get to use your flower lights btw?

And I haven't done it yet. But she claimed them, they are so cute.

well I am having a terrible year with these bobs and the pheasants arent that much better. So the earlier hatched pheasants are fine, there was some pecking, can anyone help me out on how to put the peepers on? I am scared to death I am gonna hurt them.... lol. The bobs however.... well I have a few foot peckers..... I have lost 13 out of 20.... UGH

these little boogers are VICIOUS! I had zero trouble with them last year but this year... I dont know what has gotten into them. Well, I decided next year to order eggs from Wadleys and fill the bator all at once. That way there isnt a stagger. So hopefully there will be more luck then. Did I tell you guys that the 9 babies my pheasant hen hatched out disappeared? I never even saw them. I just went into the pen and there was one baby that had just hatched and a bunch of empty hatched shells, no signs of blood, or anything.... just POOF gone. Cant believe it.... well there is another hen setting and another nest being made, both of them will be surrounded in a small mesh so I can get the babies if mommy abandons like the last one did.... stupid pheasant hens!

Yes, they leave it alone. I have it on one end of my house and it is wonderful. I just mow right over it as it trails into the yard and it doesn't hurt it a bit. The ducks and chickens go through it looking for bugs but it pops right back without any problems.

No worries, it will save the postal people from one day of my breathing down their neck telling them to be careful.
